A word on ALL CAPS TITLES in poetry manuscripts…is it just me or does this type of title-ing look like SHOUTING THE NAMES OF THE POEMS?

I’m working on another poetry manuscript for a client and it is a very very lovely collection of poems. Some really beautiful work!

But I very often see manuscript edit jobs with ALL CAPS TITLES and it seems improper. Am I the only one that does not prefer this presentation?

I prefer:

• Title case capitalization
• Headings for the titles so they input into the TOC properly
• Only a slightly larger…
