I know.Believe me I do. I try to always leave a comment on a poem I read because I know the disappointment of having no feedback (most of mine is barely getting a read and I believe it to not be an issue of quality.) I also tend to write difficult to decipher poetry so I think maybe they just don’t know what to say? I am usually thrilled to just get reads but here on Medium (instead of my blog) claps and comments are crucial.

I find a poem always speaks. It is up to the reader to determine what it is saying, and that can vary wildly from reader to reader — and this is ok, welcome, gratifying to me as a poet. Keep writing!
