I know the feeling. When someone comments on your poetry it’s like a new parent walking around with that beaming slobbery baby and someone says “your baby is so beautiful! Oh look at her eyes, here leeettle teeny eyelashes…oh muh goodneshh..”

Swoon. with. joy.

I look forward to reading more of your work and will do my best to read, highlight, and comment. If there’s ever one you want my attention on…don’t hesitate to give me a tag at the bottom of the post. I think it is good to tag other Medium people anyway in posts (I read somewhere on an article on how to get curated — which I think must be especially hard for poetry posts,) and I’ll be happy to give it a read. (I DO give critique sometimes but I prefer to do this privately — and it is usually not content — that is your baby — but usually commas or a superfluous word or something. Always with tact — I appreciate when people give me feedback. “I love it” is GREAT but I like to improve my writing — know the reader’s response.)

HAPPY POEM-ING :) I hope to have a new one up on Fiddleheads & Floss Poetry on Medium by the end of the day. Still working on it.
