I would give so much to have the joy of getting my MFA in creative writing. But the world is at my fingertips. I own dozens of poetry books, classics, and about 75 novels I have not read. So many movies at the ready with a few clicks of the remote. And Medium is chock full of well-written essays.

So why CAN’T I work through an MFA on my own? This challenge is difficult. I read very slowly and get so distracted. But I will give this some thought and see how much of it I can apply reasonably. Bradbury is so great for his advice and I told you previously that Zen in the Art of Writing is AMAZING — best craft book I have read to date.

Thank you again for a well-crafted article that encourages me to be the best I can be at my craft — and to put in the work.

I can’t say just yet I am in but bookmarking to see if I can set up a notebook for this work, and seeing what I can incorporate.
